Growing up here in beautiful Northern Minnesota I was blessed with everything I needed to shape me into the avid outdoorsman that I am today. I enjoy everything from hunting to fishing and photography to simply walking and observing nature. Being raised in a family environment where there was always an opportunity to tag along with someone outside, either with my Dad or my uncles, I was fortunate to have no shortage of teachers willing to help me learn what I needed to know so that I could not just handle myself, but truly enjoy every minute spent outdoors. Though I have learned quite a bit since my childhood it seems that every time I am able to get out, be it hunting, fishing or just taking pictures, I always walk away having learned at least a little something more.
I have started this blog to share my past experiences and stories, provide insight and information that I have learned over the years, as well as to share what I continue to learn each day I get to spend enjoying the great Minnesota Outdoors. My hope is that over time we can have regular visitors to this site and get some good discussion going, in the process we can all learn a little more from each other.
